If you want to be a superhero, having some super powers helps, but it isn't essential (for example, Batman can't fly). What's more important is your self-determination to do what you're going to do. This is the defining characteristic of a superhero; that they have a determination to make a difference to the world. Being able to look good in an unusual outfit also helps.
